Archon Golf Classic Scramble 2018 20th Anniversary
Put this date on your calendar Saturday September 29th, 2018. Wilmington Elks Golf Course, Wilmington, Ohio. Come celebrate our 20th anniversary!! As always we will have great food, favors, prizes and Archon Classic “Founders Cup” trophy to team’s lowest score. All for a cause to fund our Archon Alumni Family Scholarship, as well as comradery, and innocent competition amongst our brothers. Although last years’ winners commented a challenge to all that they have not been defeated…
Our Archon Family scholarship has jumped to a great start since being formed in 2015 thanks to events like our Archon Golf Classic, fund raising events Cleveland Caves weekend excursion, raffles Green Briar Weekend package, benefit lunching’s and private donations. We encourage outside participation so bring your friends, relatives, & co-workers. Brothers’ who have businesses and would like to sponsor a hole, team, or donate items for raffle. Archon Alumni Association, Inc., which is a non-profit, 501 © (3) charitable organization. Donors may deduct contributions as provided in IRC 170© (3) of the U.S. Tax Code. Not a golfer! No problem come on in and watch or mingle around the club house and have dinner $25.00 for meals send in your RSVP on registration form.

Our scholarship committee just recently met and have created a more flexible account to both benefit our active and family scholarship applications that will better utilize our accounts. Thus allowing more use of the active scholarship endowment while the archon family scholarship fund has more time for growth. Please read letter from Brother Rusty Bookman in this mailing to learn more about this meeting.
Other events and meetings on calendar this year is a CCW (concealed carry) class and fund raiser for Buckeye Hero Hunt. Date to be announced. This event will help Ohio veterans. The Buckeye Hero Hunt co-founded by Brother Paul Haller helps make possible for disabled American Veterans to go on a once in a lifetime opportunity archery hunt for whitetail deer in a controlled area of Zaleski Forest in Southeast Ohio’s Vinton County.
Looking into an Archon Golf Myrtle Beach trip in October tentative dates are 18th – 21st. Includes golf, shows and hotel room rates included. Non golf rates start at $165 for 3 nights. Rates based on number of participation.
University of Rio Grande tailgate party held during “Bevo Francis Tournament”, Saturday November 17th, 8:00am till? Our Archon 4th annual “Best Greek Alumni” Trophy awarded to the most Greek organizations in attendance. Last year AMB was awarded #1. Awesome time put it on your calendar this year!!
Annual Joe Ullery Archon Christmas Party Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 in Coshocton, Ohio at The Warehouse “Steak n Stein” Roscoe Village.
