The 25th Anniversary
25th Anniversary Archon Classic will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Elks 797 Golf Club in Wilmington, Ohio. As you know, this is our yearly showcase event, and we are returning to the course where the Archon Classic originated in 1998 and has since proven to be a mainstay of our success in renewing old friendships of brotherhood…and establishing new ones.
As the Archon Classic continued to grow, it became clear that Archon men were realizing an interest in supporting our active order and our university. Under the leadership of Dean Brown, the Archon Scholarship was born. From that point, funds raised through this event have been invested and administered for the benefit of scholarship opportunities for high achieving Archon actives.
Since 2009, a total of $37,000 has been awarded to a total of 20 active order recipients who have met the metrics established by the scholarship committee and the University. Scholarship committee chairman, Rusty Bookman, sums up the purpose of the Archon scholarship in this way: “Achievement and success are an Archon tradition and expectation. These competitive scholarships provide a means and generate the characteristics that are necessary for the continuation of our order.”
Let’s sign up your teams NOW and compete for the prestigious Founders Trophy! Teams can be made up of Archon brothers, friends, co-workers, or family members. The cost is $100 per player and includes golf, cart, lite breakfast, lunch-at-the-turn, and dinner…and a swag bag !! WHAT A DEAL!!
Please consider an individual hole sponsorship at ($100) or a corporate hole sponsorship at ($300), which includes the cost for the day of golf for one individual. Hole sponsorship is the bread and butter of our effort. You also might be able to provide items that can be used in the auction (with raucous Kim Nye as the auctioneer) that will be held after dinner and the conclusion of the Archon Classic.
