65th May Day Weekend

The 65th May Day Weekend will be held on April 29th–May 1st, 2022 in Jackson  Ohio. Honoring The founders of Archon. The Red Roof Inn in Jackson will be the official hotel and epicenter of Activity.

To book a room call 740-288-1200 tell them you’re with Archon to get the reduced rate. 

The banquet on Saturday will cost $35.00 in advance and $50.00 at the door.  Please pay in advance so we have an accurate count for meals, Alcohol, and seating for you.  We cannot guarantee a meal without a reservation, Go to  archonalumni.org the bottoms up Club or Send checks to Larry Googs.

The meal will include Salad, Chicken Prime Rib pork ribs vegetables, and dessert 

Golf on Saturday is $40 for a cart and 18 holes and will be paid at the Fair greens Golf course. Let us know you plan on golfing, so we have your spot reserved.  Lunch is available for purchase

Below is the itinerary for the weekend which is subject to change  

Friday, April 29th

• 12 pm –  Check Inn at the Red Roof begins 
• 1 pm –  We will meet in the Red Roof in the lobby to go to lunch and kick off the weekend. We will choose a restaurant then and all pay for our own meals  
• 4 pm –  Red Roof Inn Conference Room Meet the founders. We will learn more of  our history and ask questions to the founders themselves 
• 6 pm –  The Annual Len Longo cookout to be held at the Wagon Wheelers in Jackson  The address is 354 Summit Street Jackson, Ohio Shuttle from the Red Roof to the Wagon  Wheelers will start at 5:45 pm 
• 11 pm – After cookout party at the Red Roof Inn Conference Room

Saturday, April 30th 

• 9 am – meet in the Red Roof lobby to head to the Fair Greens  
• 9:30 am – Tee times start 
• 10 am  – The 2nd Annual Kelly Taylor Memorial Euchre tournament begins in the Red  Roof Inn Conference Room 
• 12 pm –  lunch in the Red Roof Inn conference room 
• 3:45 pm –  Shuttle starts to The Wagon Wheelers from the Red Roof inn
• 4 pm –  Happy Hour begins 
• 5:15 pm –  The evening begins with awards announcements and Speakers 
• 6:00 pm –  Dinner by Rowdy’s smokehouse is served. And activities continue with Top Tier Band taking the stage at 7:00 pm for dancing and entertainment. 
• 11 pm -12 am Party winds down 
• 1 am –  Afterparty in The Red Roof Inn Conference room 

Sunday, May 1st 

10 am -12 pm – The farewell Brunch at brother Paul Hallers house.
