Archon Christmas Party’s / Memorial Legacy Scholarship Fund

We are fast approaching the dates of our two annual Christmas parties.
The Joe Ullery Annual Archon Christmas Luncheon will be at Brother John Larson’s ’70 restaurant in historic Roscoe Village near Coshocton, Ohio, https://www.warehouserestaurants.com/ on Wednesday December 14th, at 11am. This is a great time to be in Roscoe Village.
The Archon Legacy Christmas Luncheon will be held in Dublin at BJ Brewhouse Restaurant, located at 5141 Tuttle Crossing. (https://www.bjsrestaurants.com) on December 17th at 11am.
Over the years, Archons have had a lot of fun and fellowship at these Christmas events. As they have occurred, it has become obvious that they have become more and more important to us. These occasions have allowed brothers from multiple generations to meet and share their common experience, Archon. Every year, new Archon faces appear, and every year, regretfully, some disappear. This year, we lost four brothers. With the benefit of 65 years of hindsight, brother Joe Ullery ‘68 understands this. He is proposing a method of celebrating the new men who represent the continuation of our order while at the same time memorializing those who have passed from our association. To this end, he is proposing that Archon men contribute some amount to commemorate these lost brothers and supplement the Archon scholarship endowment.
He is offering his initial contribution to what he hopes is an annual Memorial Scholarship Legacy Fund at Christmas. Like everything we do, this is an example of what it takes to propel Archon to another 65 years of brotherhood and service to the university from which we were founded.
This will be discussed at both Christmas parties and those attending will have the opportunity to contribute. If you cannot make it to either event, you can still donate through Paypal on the Archon website at Archon Store | Archon Alumni Association.
For the year 2022, your alumni scholarship committee awarded $6000 to active Archons. With good management and your thoughtful generosity, we hope to grow the endowment and be able to exponentially award more each year going forward.
