66^th May Day Weekend April 28^th, & 29^th 2023

The Fraternal Order of Archon will be celebrating our 66th May Day Weekend on Friday April 28^th, and Saturday 29^th, 2023 in Jackson Ohio. This year’s event we would like to see more pledge class brothers and brothers connected with their era at Rio. This weekend connects all brothers, including our Active Archon Fraternity. We would not be here today without their efforts to survive a growing fraternity and Alumni Association. We are a very unique organization with special attributes that contribute to our success!

Reservations can be booked at the Red Roof Inn, Jackson OH. Management has informed us that renovations have been made to all rooms this year. We have serval rooms blocked for this weekend already and will add more as needed in case of unseen demand other than our group. This year’s event starts on Friday at the Wagon Wheeler’s in Jackson with brother “Len Longo’s Cookout,” starting time 6:00pm. There will plenty of food!! This is a free event.

The banquet on Saturday at the Wagon Wheelers in Jackson will cost $40.00 in advance and $45.00 at the door. Spouses, significant others are welcome to attend as always. Please pay in advance so we have an accurate count for meals, alcohol, and seating. We cannot guarantee a meal without a reservation. Our meal will include salad, vegetables, chicken, prime rib or ribeye steaks, pork ribs, and dessert. Plus, alcohol and nonalcoholic beverages.

For those golfing Saturday at the Fair Greens Golf Course tee time is 9:00 am, golf fees are 18 holes $40.00 plus cart, lunch can be requested at the turn.

Itinerary for the weekend.

Friday April 28^th

12:00pm- Check in at the Red Roof Inn begins.

1:00pm- We will meet in the Red Roof Lobby to go to lunch and kick off the weekend. We will choose a restaurant and meals are at your own expense.

4:00pm- Meet and greet in the Red Roof Inn conference room before going to Len’s Cook out.

6:00pm- The annual Len Longo cookout to be held at the Wagon Wheelers. 354 Summitt St, Jackson, OH 45640. After cookout party at the Red Roof Inn bomb fire in parking lot or party in conference room.

Saturday April 29^th.

9:00 am- Golfers meet at the Fair Greens Golf Course.

10:00am- The 3^rd Annual Kelly Taylor Memorial Euchre Tournament begins in the Red Roof Inn Conference room. Prizes 1^st, & 2^nd place.

12:00pm Lunch in the Red Roof Inn conference room. Free!!

5:00pm- Shuttle begins, happy hour.

5:30pm- Dinner provided by Rowdy’s Smokehouse is served and award presentations.

7:00pm- DJ & Karaoke by Keaton Beats.

11:00pm-12:00am- Party winds down.

1:00am- After party in The Red Roof Inn Conference Room.

Sunday April 30^th

8:30am- brunch will be served at Brother Paul & Marla Haller’s home.  3 Robin Hill Lane, Jackson, OH 45640. Just off of Rt. 93, south to 4-mile road, look for Robin Hill Lane Street sign on the right. (Stone Pillars)
