The 24th annual Archon Classic is in the books and once again it was a beautiful day and a hard-fought battle between some great golfers. Eight foursomes came to play. This year’s winners were a team made up of Brother Kevin Hollingsworth ‘82, Brother Tom Clark ’77, and two guests. They secured the bragging rights to this prestigious event, posting an impressive 13 under.
Hole sponsorships, the purchase of mulligans, a fifty/fifty, and the generosity of some of our brothers in picking up the cost of breakfast and dinner, led us to netting over $4400 for this year’s golf outing. Please remember, the money raised from the Classic is the main funding for our Archon Scholarship. This scholarship provides our actives a motivation to work hard, to stay in school and become engaged. Events like the Archon Classic are what grow our alumni organization and allow us to enjoy the dynamic brotherhood we all know and love.
